But the key thing to be worked out to make this really work is energy storage, meaning large, advanced batteries of some kind. AP&G is researching and investing in this area heavily right now.
With battery storage handled, energy collected from wind and solar will be stored in the batteries and there will never be an uncertainty about energy, when the sun isn’t out or the wind isn’t blowing.
